Fluoreen Free Foam

Fluorine-free foam refers to firefighting foam that does not contain fluorinated compounds, such as perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS). These compounds, known as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), have been linked to environmental and health concerns due to their persistence and potential toxicity. Fluorine-free foams are being developed as alternatives to traditional firefighting foams to mitigate these concerns. They are designed to be effective in extinguishing fires while minimizing environmental and health risks associated with PFAS contamination.
